Here's a quick video tour of the UK and Ireland - in accents
FOR SUCH A small corner of the world, it’s entirely possible to go from one end to the other without hearing the same accent twice. (Probably.)
Dialect coach Andrew Jack has taken a stab at most of the accents from the UK, with an attempt at the Dublin/Irish accent also thrown in.
The audio is taken from Jack’s appearance on BBC4′s The Film Programme, and Redditor NotNowGimli added in a Google Earth tour over it.
The only thing we’re not sure about is the Dublin accent, where it all gets a bit Oirish. We wonder how he’d tackle the Cork and Kerry accents?
